All plays that are released are data and analytics-driven. You can expect anywhere from 5-7 plays per day on average. There is more volume in the NBA than in the NFL. There are days when there are fewer plays, as the quality of plays does not qualify for the very restrictive methodology for a wager.
Is there a guarantee that I will get the same price as the released play?
There is absolutely no guarantee. The lines at release are widely available and do move quickly. It is highly recommended to keep your alerts on your phone turned on and have access to bet at as many sportsbooks as you can. Having many outs will mitigate the juice and make you more profitable.
